The general
operating expenses of the Study Commission on the Impact of Divorce, Child
Support Issues and Custody Issues on Children, Parents, Health, Poverty and
Housing Insecurity are projected to be $3,148 in fiscal year 2023-24. This
bill requires the commission seek outside contributions to fully fund the
costs of the commission and the Legislature will require a one-time Other
Special Revenue Funds allocation of $3,148 in fiscal year 2023-24 to allow
expenditure of any contributions received. The additional costs of providing
staffing assistance to the study during the interim can be absorbed within
existing budgeted staff resources.
