The Regulation
and Enforcement program within the Department of Labor will require ongoing
General Fund appropriations of $144,768 in fiscal year 2023-24 and $201,957
in fiscal year 2024-25 for 2 Labor and Safety Inspector positions and related
All Other costs necessary to support the anticipated increase in regulatory
oversight to ensure compliance with the law regarding special wage
certificates for individuals experiencing chronic unemployment. This estimate assumes an October 1, 2023
effective date. |
