The Department of
Education has indicated that it will require a one-time General Fund
appropriation of $20,000 in fiscal year 2023-24 to the Higher Education and
Educator Support Services program to make the necessary software updates to
incorporate changes to teacher certification requirements included in this
bill. |

to the State Board of Education associated with the rulemaking process can be
absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
