The Department of
Economic and Community Development has indicated that it will require ongoing
General Fund appropriations totaling $204,843 in fiscal year 2023-24 and
$245,458 in fiscal year 2024-25 to establish and operate the Community-based
Volunteer Organization Support Program beginning October 1, 2023. Of this amount, $97,843 and $130,458 in
fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25 respectively, will be required for one
Public Service Executive I position to administer the program. All Other funding of $107,000 in fiscal
year 2023-24 and $115,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2024-25 will be
required for technology related costs to administer the program as well as
contracted professional services to provide technical assistance and training
statewide. |
