Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The Department of
Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $26,865
in fiscal year 2023-24 and $53,731 in fiscal year 2024-25 to provide
reimbursement for the costs of newly born male infant circumcision beginning
January 1, 2024. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required
for the FMAP match.
Additional costs to the State Employee Health Plan associated with
requiring health insurance coverage for newly born male infant circumcision
are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted
resources. |
