|
This bill exempts
municipal shellfish management committees engaged in shellfish conservation
activities from certain educational course requirements and waives the $100
fee to obtain a limited-purpose aquaculture license from the Department of
Marine Resources (DMR). Due to the limited nature of these activities, any
reduction in revenue to the DMR is not anticipated to be significant. The
exemption would also result in minor savings to the municipalities currently
required to obtain a license. |
