This bill
eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriations of $1.0 million per year
beginning in fiscal year 2022-23 included in the bill to the Lead Abatement
Fund within the Maine State Housing Authority (MSHA) for the abatement of
lead paint hazards in residential housing and for the costs to MSHA to
administer the program and instead provides a one-time General Fund
appropriation of $300,000 in fiscal year 2024-25 for the same purpose. |
