Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $41,777 in fiscal year 2023-24 and $43,942 in fiscal year 2024-25 for one Comprehensive Health Planner II position to assist with the tracking of temporary Nurse Staffing Agency registrations for administrative changes, complaint investigations, audits related to the new requirements and drafting the required annual report.

There will also be an annual increase in General Fund Revenue of $214,500 due to increasing the annual registration fee from $25 to $1,000. This increase is greater than the General Fund appropriations required for the new position, so this bill is a net savings to the General Fund.
