|
This bill
requires the Department of Transportation (DOT), within available resources,
to remove 31 miles of state-owned inactive existing railroad track between
the Town of Standish and the Town of Fryeburg and replace the track with an
interim 10-foot wide bicycle and pedestrian trail. The cost to perform this
work is estimated to be approximately $20.1 million. If the DOT does not have
sufficient available resources, the project may not move forward. |
