|
This bill requires
the Department of Transportation (DOT), within available resources, to build
an interim 10-foot wide bicycle and pedestrian trail adjacent to the existing
rail bed and maintain the existing tracks and ties. Many portions of the
track, including bridges, would need to be replaced. The cost to perform this
work would be approximately $20.1 million. If the DOT does not have sufficient available resources,
the project may not move forward. |
