This amendment
eliminates the one-time General Fund appropriations of $95,000 per year in
both fiscal year 2023-24 and fiscal year 2024-25 included in the bill to the
Adult Education program within the Department of Education to provide funds
to the Maine Multicultural Center in Bangor for one or more positions to
establish a comprehensive program for foreign-trained workers through the
Maine Multicultural Center and instead provides a one-time General Fund
appropriation of $190,000 in fiscal year 2024-25 for the same purpose. |
