Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $15,114 in fiscal year 2023-24 and $30,228 in fiscal year 2024-25 to contract with a 3rd-party entity to conduct assessments for children who have not attained 21 years of age who the department determines are eligible for private duty nursing and personal care services provided in a residential setting or other setting where normal life activities take place. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match.
