This bill
includes expanded archery permits in the super pack license issued by the
Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife by allowing the holder to take
one additional deer of either sex. It also increases the super pack license
fee from $201 to $207 for residents and from $176 to $182 for a person
holding 2 or more lifetime licenses. This change will decrease the number of
$32 expanded archery permits sold by roughly 900 permits, reducing General
Fund revenue by $28,000 starting in fiscal year 2023-24. The increased super
pack license fee will result in an additional
$30,000 in General Fund revenue beginning in fiscal year 2023-24. The
net impact of these changes is an annual increase in General Fund revenue of
$1,200 beginning fiscal year 2023-24. |
