This bill
establishes the option of parole for all persons sentenced to the custody of
the Department of Corrections on or after May 1, 1976. It includes a General
Fund appropriation of $4,445,016 in fiscal year 2024-25 for 4 Victim Advocate
positions, one Parole Director position, 2 Parole Program Manager positions,
2 Secretary Specialist positions, 6 Correctional Care and Treatment Worker
positions, 7 Probation Officer Assistant positions, 7 Probation Parole
Officer positions, one Regional Correctional Manager Probation position, one
Resource Administrator position and related costs to administer and manage
the parole program. |
