This bill
provides immediate family members of qualifying veterans and active duty
military members free day-use passes to enter all state parks and historic
sites. This is estimated to reduce General Fund revenue by $150,770 in fiscal
year 2023-24 and by $201,026 in fiscal year 2024-25 using the assumption that
qualifying veterans and family members comprise roughly 5% of the current
annual revenue of $4,020,520 from day-use passes. |
