This bill may
increase the number of civil suits filed in the court system. The additional
workload associated with the minimal number of new cases filed in the court
system does not require additional funding at this time. The collection of
additional filing fees will increase General Fund revenue by minor amounts. |

This bill includes
ongoing allocations of $137,605 to the Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) within
the Department of Administrative and Financial Services beginning in fiscal
year 2024-25 for one OCP Compliance Inspector position and associated
position costs. |
|
The provisions
that change requirements and terms for registry identification cards issued
under the Medical Use of Cannabis Program will reduce Other Special Revenue
Funds revenue to the OCP by $37,110 in fiscal year 2024-25, $131,550 in
fiscal 2025-26 and $37,110 in fiscal year 2026-27. The provisions that change
terms for individual identification cards issued under the Adult Use Cannabis
Program will reduce Other Special Revenue Funds revenue to the OCP by
$174,318 in fiscal year 2026-27. |
