definition of "covered establishment" in the law regarding employee
severence pay to include all employment sectors, not just industrial and
commercial sectors, may result in increased severance pay costs to certain
local units of government if they would now be required to make severance
payments to employees at county and municipal-owned facilities that they
decide to close or relocate. |
