This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $400,000 in fiscal year
2022-23 to the Housing Authority - State program within the Maine State
Housing Authority (MSHA) for grants to eligible owners of single family homes
or landlords for the treatment of contaminated private drinking water. The
authority has indicated that the 10% provision in the bill for administrative
costs will be sufficient for it to administer the program. |
