|
The
responsibilities and services of the Maine School Safety Center within the
Department of Education, included in this legislation, can be absorbed within
existing budgeted resources through the 2022-2023 biennium. Staffing for the
Center includes 2 limited-period positions authorized through June 10, 2023,
2 limited-period positions authorized through September 29, 2023 and one
full-time position. Three of the five
positions are funded through a federal grant that ends on September 30,
2023. |
