|
The Maine
Community College System has indicated that it will require ongoing General
Fund appropriations of $20,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2022-23 for
the costs associated with adding one full-time faculty member, one adjunct
faculty member and one full-time nonfaculty member to its Board of
Trustees. This estimate includes
funding for technology, stipends, mileage and other administrative costs for
each new board member as well as the cost of covering the workload of the
faculty and staff members while they attend the board meetings. |
|
The University of
Maine System (UMS) has indicated that the costs associated with adding one
faculty member, one nonfaculty member and one adjunct faculty member to its
Board of Trustees is estimated to be approximately $12,000 per year. UMS will fund these costs within existing
budgeted resources. |
