|
This legislation
amends the laws relating to the withdrawal of a school administrative unit
from an education service center to allow for either the withdrawing school
administrative unit or the remaining school administrative units in an
education service center to request a neutral arbitrator if the parties are
unable to agree on a withdrawal agreement after a certain period of
time. Although there is no fiscal
impact to the State, this bill may increase costs to the members of the
education service center for arbitration and alternate dispute resolution
services. |
