This bill allows
an employee license issued by the Gambling Control Board (GCB) within the
Department of Public Safety to be renewed for either a one-year term or a
3-year term. The fee for a one-year renewal remains at $25; the 3-year
renewal is set at $50. The GCB estimates that this change will increase
General Fund revenue by $20,000 in fiscal year 2022-23 and reduce General
Fund revenue by $20,000 in fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25 because of the
longer license term. |
