This bill requires
certain employees in correctional facilities to be paid hazard pay. The
Department of Corrections will require one-time Federal Expenditures Fund -
ARP State Fiscal Recovery allocations of $14,720,430 in fiscal year 2021-22.
The estimated amount of allocations needed assumes hazard pay will be
retroactive to January 1, 2021 and paid through the end of fiscal year 2022.
The availability of the Federal Expenditures Fund - ARP State Fiscal Recovery
funding for this purpose will depend on other amounts allocated from this
Fund by the Legislature. |
