The bill requires
the Department of Corrections to create a plan to close the Long Creek Youth
Development Center and submit a report to the Joint Standing Committee on
Criminal Justice and Public Safety. Any additional costs to the Department of
Corrections are assumed to be minor and can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. Additional costs to the Department of Labor to coordinate
with the Department of Corrections to prepare a workforce development plan
for Long Creek Youth Development Center staff can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
