This bill includes
General Fund appropriations totaling $12,221,469 in fiscal year 2022-23 for
early childhood educator workforce salary supplements and for the expansion
of career and technical early childhood education programs. |
|
Of this amount, a
General Fund appropriation to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$12,121,469 in fiscal year 2022-23 is provided for one Social Services
Manager I position, one Management Analyst II position and for salary
supplements awarded to individuals who provide child care or who are early
childhood educators. |
|
Additionally, a
General Fund appropriation of $100,000 per year beginning in fiscal year
2022-23 to the General Purpose Aid for Local Schools program within the
Department of Education is included to support the expansion of career and
technical education early childhood programs. |
