|
The General Fund
positions and funding for the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)
related to the provisions of this bill are contained in the biennial
budget. The bill also authorizes a
septage and sludge handling fee beginning January 1, 2022, that will result in estimated Other Special
Revenue Funds revenue of $1,800,000 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $3,600,000 in
fiscal 2022-23. The bill includes
Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $1,800,000 in fiscal year 2021-22
and $3,600,000 in fiscal year 2022-23 for the Department of Environmental
Protection to allow for expenditure of the new handling fee revenue received. |
