This legislation
requires the Maine Arts Commission to create a program to provide public art
recovery grants to public entities in the State utilizing funds from the
American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) if these funds are eligible to be used for
this purpose and any funds appropriated by the State. It is assumed that if no ARPA funds are
allowed to be used, no grants will be provided. |
