This bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$98,373 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $101,868 in fiscal year 2022-23 for one
Health Program Manager position to be the Oral Health Coordinator within the
Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, rural health and primary
care division, to lead the center's public health functions related to oral
health.
A more current estimate would increase the fiscal year 2021-22 General Fund
appropriation by $95,737 to $194,110 and the fiscal year 2022-23 General Fund
appropriation by $191,474 to $293,342 to provide preventive oral health
services through the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention to all
schools in the State by January 1, 2025. |
