|
The Department of
Education will require ongoing General Fund appropriations totaling $104,252
in fiscal year 2021-22 and $119,120 in fiscal year 2022-23 for the costs
associated with establishing and implementing the Career Advancement and
Navigation Initiative. Of this amount,
the Adult Education program will require ongoing General Fund appropriations
of $101,749 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $116,617 in fiscal year 2022-23 for
one Regional Education Representative position and related All Other costs to
manage the Career Advancement and Navigation Initiative. Additionally, the School Finance and
Operations program will require ongoing General Fund appropriations of $2,503
per year beginning in fiscal year 2021-22 for the ongoing technology costs. |

Additional costs
to the Departments of Labor, Professional and Financial Regulation, Economic
and Community Development, Health and Human Services and other state agencies
to collaborate with career advancement and navigation specialists to develop
a plan or set of plans to carry out the purposes of the Career Advancement
and Navigation Initiative can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
