This resolve
directs the Emergency Medical Services Communications Bureau within the
Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to review the protocols and procedures
necessary to ensure the delivery of crisis response services under the
State's E-9-1-1 system and report by February 1, 2022. The PUC has indicated that this review will
require the use of outside consulting services. The resolve includes a
one-time allocation of $100,000 in fiscal year 2021-22 for consulting services.
The Emergency Services Communication Bureau has sufficient cash available to
fund the additional allocation. |
