Requiring the
Workers' Compensation Board to devise a high-risk pool to protect
municipalities from the impact of the implementation of certain workers'
compensation laws providing a rebuttable presumption that certain employees
received injuries in the course of their employment may result in increased
costs to the board for consulting fees.
The impact can not be determined until the board completes the
required study and determines the scope of work required to devise the
high-risk pool. |
