Exempting turkeys
taken during the fall hunting season from tagging and registration
requirements may result in minor savings to the Department of Inland
Fisheries and Wildlife (IFW). Any additional costs to IFW as a result of a
requirement to report on the status of an electronic tagging system for wild
turkeys by January 3, 2022 are anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed
within existing budgeted resources. |
