This bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation of $9,000 in fiscal year 2021-22 to the
Leadership Team program within the Department of Education for the costs
associated with the department holding meetings with stakeholders to study
disciplinary policies. |

Any additional
costs to the Department of Health and Human Services and the Permanent
Commission on the Status of Racial, Indigenous and Maine Tribal Populations
from the provisions of this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed
within existing budgeted resources. |
