Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $4,295,615 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $7,700,179 in fiscal year 2022-23 to provide MaineCare program and the Children's Health Insurance Program coverage for noncitizen residents of this State who are ineligible for coverage under the federal Medicaid program or Children's Health Insurance Program due to their immigration status. Federal Expenditures Fund and Other Special Revenue Funds allocations are also included in this bill for the FMAP match.
