Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
This bill
requires General Fund revenue in excess of $4,500,000 from user fees from
state parks, historic sites, the Allagash Wilderness Waterway and other
payments for certain services to be credited to a nonlapsing Other Special
Revenue Funds account in the Parks-General Operations program within the
Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (ACF) to be used for
capital improvements at state parks and historic sites. Based on current projected General Fund
revenues, the $4,500,000 cap will reduce General Fund revenue by $986,595 and
increase Other Special Revenue Funds revenue by the same amount starting in
fiscal year 2021-22. ACF will require
ongoing allocations of $986,595 starting in fiscal year 2021-22 to allow for
expenditure of the funds. |
