Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $1,081,952 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $4,221,772 in fiscal year 2022-23 for the net cost (new costs minus savings) for the Department of Health and Human Services to establish a reimbursement rate for a coordinated specialty care model to treat individuals showing early signs of psychotic disorder. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations are also included in this bill for the FMAP match and Other Special Revenue Funds allocations for the Service Provider Tax.
Additional costs to the Department of Education and the Department of Labor to work with the Department of Health and Human Services to establish the required bundled reimbursement rate can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
