This bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation of $25,000,000 in fiscal year 2021-22
to the Heating Fuels Efficiency and Weatherization Fund within the Efficiency
Maine Trust (EMT) to support the weatherization of homes and businesses.
Additional costs to the EMT as a result of changes to the definition of
"low income" and weatherization goals are anticipated to be minor
and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
