The bill includes
General Fund appropriations of $46,500 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $5,000 in
fiscal year 2022-23 to the Department of Public Safety for a mobile thermal
destruction unit to incinerate these flares, maintenance fees and an
education program. Any additional costs to the Department of Agriculture,
Conservation and Forestry, Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and
Department of Marine Resources as a result of the provisions of this bill are
anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted
resources. |
