This bill would
authorize the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to allow deer
baiting under certain conditions in the open seasons on deer in 2021, 2022,
2023 and report back on findings and recommendations regarding the baiting of
deer by January 1, 2024. Any
additional costs to IFW as a result of the rulemaking process or reporting
requirements are anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
