	This amendment removes provisions that required the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to submit future legislation identifying potential funding sources to establish a position to coordinate the acquisition and management of deer wintering areas. Also, the 5% of appraised value limit on funds allowed to be spent for a management plan for land acquired with Lands for Maine's Future proceeds can now include minor capital investments in the stewardship and management of that land, but the combined total is still subject to the 5% limit. Total expenditure of Lands for Maine's Future funding is not expected to change.
