Any additional
costs to the Bureau of Alcohohic Beverages and Lottery Operations as a result
of provisions in this bill are anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed
within existing budgeted resources. The Department of Administrative and
Financial Services has indicated that clarifying language related to certain
out-of-state sales being exempt from Maine excise tax relates to sales that
Maine is not receiving excise tax for currently. |
