The bill includes
an ongoing General Fund appropriation of $130,885 beginning in fiscal year
2022-23 to the Office of Policy Innovation and the Future within the
Executive Department for one Public Service Coordinator II position and
related costs to support the coordination, communications and activities of
the strategic plan to end hunger in the State by 2030. The Department of
Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (ACF) will act as the lead agency to
implement the plan. Any costs to ACF as a result of this bill are anticipated
to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
