Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $304,368 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $618,555 in fiscal year 2022-23 to increase the personal needs allowances of residents in nursing facilities ($40 to $50) and residential care facilities ($50 to $70), including one-time funding for technolgy changes. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match.
