The bill includes a
one-time General Fund appropriation to Department of Health and Human
Services of $74,714 in fiscal year
2020-21 to amend its rule Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter
III, Section 45.03 to provide reimbursement for patients discharged from
Southern Maine Health Care's psychiatric inpatient unit in the amount of
$10,166 per distinct discharge. The increased rate is repealed on January 15,
2022. Federal Expenditures Fund allocation is also included for the FMAP
match. |
