Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes Fund for a Healthy Maine allocations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $627,421 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $1,004,842 in fiscal year 2020-21 for a 24-month pilot project to provide rapid access to low-barrier treatment for substance use disorders and stable housing to support recovery and create stability for 50 opioid users who are among the most vulnerable and unstable in the State. Additional costs to the Maine State Housing Authority can be absorbed within existing programs and budgeted resources.
