This bill changes
the year for the State's goal to eradicate childhood lead poisoning from 2010
to 2030 and requires that a report on progress toward meeting that goal be
submitted to the Legislature by January 1, 2025 and requires that all Maine
children be tested for unsafe exposure to lead at one year of age and 2 years
of age. The funding required to meet the provisions of this bill was included
in the biennial budget and no further funding is required. |
