Additional costs
to the regulatory boards either within or affiliated with the Department of
Professional and Financial Regulation that are impacted by this legislation
can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. Any reduction in costs to the Department of
Health and Human Services due to MaineCare being prohibited from funding
conversion therapy are expected to be minor and will not impact existing
budgeted resources. |
