An Act To Automatically Change a Voter Registration Address upon Change of Address for a Driver's License

Sec. 1. 21-A MRSA §197  is enacted to read:

§ 197.  Periodic update based upon change of address

The Secretary of State shall review on a weekly basis changes of addresses under Title 29-A, section 1407 and, if a person who has changed an address under that section is registered to vote in the State, the Secretary of State shall update the central voter registration system accordingly.
