Fiscal Detail and Notes
	This amendment provides General Fund appropriations totaling $850,000 in fiscal year 2018-19 to the Maine Community College System to support the hiring of additional nursing faculty and the acquisition of equipment and instruction space to expand nursing classes.  Of this amount, $650,000 per year is provided on an ongoing basis to the following: Southern Maine Community College ($200,000), Central Maine Community College ($200,000) and Eastern Maine Community College ($250,000).  One-time funding of $200,000 in fiscal year 2018-19 is provided to Northern Maine Community College to support the acquisition of a nursing simulator.
