This bill
clarifies that 7% of the revenue from all day use and camping fees collected
by the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (ACF) shall be
shared with all municipalities that have lands classified by ACF as parks or
historic sites within their respective boundaries. ACF will collect no
additional revenue as a result of this clarification. However, because the fee revenue will be
distributed among a larger pool of municipalities than before, some
municipalities may see an increase in their shared revenue and others may see
a decrease in their shared revenue.
Any additional costs to ACF as a result of this change are expected to
minor and can be absorbed within existing resources. |
